
What says, “I ❤️ you, I care for you!”… better than a PINK PULAO loaded with veggies?! Well, that’s the story I’m going with today while we celebrate 19 years of togetherness.
Red roses, chocolates, mylar balloons… none of these feel like the right gifts anymore… gift of togetherness, health and a happy family surrounded by loved ones is all I look forward to!

Beetroot Pulao Recipe
Serves 3
1 Cup = 150 ml
INGREDIENTS:
- Basmati Rice – 1 cup
- Beetroot – 1, small
- French beans – 6
- Carrot – 1, small
- Potato – 1, small
- Onion – 1, large
- Green peas – 1/4 cup
- Cumin seeds/ shahi jeera – 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
- Star anise – 1
- Bay leaf – 1
- Mace – 2 to 3 strands
- Cloves – 3
- Green cardamom – 1
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Water – 2 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
3) Heat oil in a pressure cooker.cinnamon, star anise, bay leaf, mace,
cloves, green cardamom, asafoetida, and slit green chilli. Saute for 30 seconds.
7) Add ginger-garlic paste and saute until the raw smell goes away.
11) Add water. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
