Instant Raw Mango Chutney

Chutneys are essence of Indian cuisine. The term ‘chutney’ often refers to dry powders made with a combination of grains and spices/ herbs or fresh preparations made of fruits/ vegetables usually served as accompaniments.

This spicy-tangy Raw Mango Chutney is super quick & easy to put together. It can be served with dosas, idlis, appes, kebabs or cutlets. The burst of flavours tickles your taste buds perfectly.


Instant Raw Mango Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Raw mango (peeled & finely chopped) – 1
  • Onion (peeled & diced) – 1, small
  • Green chilli (roughly chopped) – 2
  • Ginger (peeled & roughly chopped) – 1/2 inch piece
  • Black peppercorns – 3
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/2tsp approx.

Instructions:

1) Grind together: raw mango, onion, green chilli, ginger, black peppercorns, and salt to a fine paste.
2) Add lemon juice, and vinegar. Mix well.
